I have no original thoughts. But feel compelled to report that the older I get the more clearly I see the open and relentless oppression of women. Which includes that Enquirer stunt.

Thanks for the post. I really liked how you phrased, "core value of privacy simply as the right to be a private person." Often in complicated discussions (such as abortion) this gets drowned in noise. There is definitely a collective aspect to privacy (in particular when it comes to data aggregation) but the right to be a private person is the key here. We also need to remember that privacy is risk and context specific and as you wrote our choices are real and contradictory and flawed. And we should learn to respect that.
