I liked this movie when I saw it in the theater and I was surprised by how much I liked it on the rewatch because so few things hold up over this many years. The film benefits from knowing what it is and being that unapologetically.
I watched this movie again a few years ago because I remember loving it so much when I was a kid. I was not disappointed. It's one of those movies that makes you curl up in a ball and wail, "Why don't they make movies like this, anymore?!"
The music from the trailer is almost identical to the music in The Goonies. Like most 80s movies, Innerspace holds a special place, sort of like Short Circuit. They are cheesy and often overacted, but so nostalgically wonderful. 😁

That was a really fun revisit to a really wacky movie. I love Martin Short.
Honestly I usually think he’s a little too much lol — but in this movie he’s just right :)
Honestly, I'm a little too much most of the time. Maybe that's why I like him. 🤪 We recently introduced my kids to Jiminy Glick. Are you familiar?
I was not, but then: Internet (!!!!!)

Thanks for sharing a great review, Amy!
